Possessing over a decade of experience in research and engineering, Griffin McCutcheon, Ph.D. will turn your inventions into intellectual property to protect your business for years to come. Prior to starting Griffin McCutcheon LLC, Griffin worked as a patent agent for Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he conducted patent application drafting and prosecution, patent due diligence, and patentability searches. He has drafted and prosecuted patent applications in fields including biotechnology, medical and dental devices, computer systems, electron microscopy, quantum computing, cancer therapeutics, agricultural products, CRISPR technology, gene sequencing, recycling, refrigeration systems, and energy storage.

Griffin has also worked as a NASA engineer, conducting biological research and developing platforms for satellite-based experimentation. His academic credentials include a PhD. in Biological Engineering from Arizona State University and a B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He has also served as a Visiting Scholar at Boston University.
